ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Three firefighters were injured while battling a fire on Dewey Avenue near Electric Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
News10NBC started hearing reports of the fire around 12:20 p.m. Our crews saw firefighters spraying water from the outside, with ladders extended.

According to the chief of the Rochester Fire Department, the three firefighters were injured with burns and taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
There was also two people taken to Rochester Regional Health for smoke related injuries, the chief said. Our crews spoke to a family that lives at the building.
