Voters approve revised school budgets in Gananda and Caledonia-Mumford, reject Oakfield-Alabama proposal

 

OAKFIELD, N.Y. – The Oakfield-Alabama Central School District faced another setback as its budget proposal failed once more. Meanwhile, voters in the Gananda Central School District approved a new budget proposal, which is more than $200,000 less than the original proposal that was rejected last month.

In the Caledonia Mumford School District, voters approved the new budget as well as a bus purchase.

The $25,555,345 budget for Oakfield-Alabama failed.

NO: 335

Ganada:

The $27,849,569 budget for Ganada passed.

Yes Votes = 413                     No Votes = 161

Caledonia-Mumford:

The $21,660,678 budget for Caledona-Mumford passed.

Proposition 2 (Bus Purchase):                      Yes Votes: 476, No Votes: 162
