ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. — Two women from Ontario County were arrested and charged with child endangerment and animal cruelty on Friday, in relation to a response from early February.
Back on Thursday, Feb. 5, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says they assisted the Ontario County Humane Society by seizing nine dogs and one cat in the Town of Hopewell.
The report says a search warrant was executed at a residence on Crabapple Drive.
The town’s code enforcement office was contacted after inspecting the residence, deeming it uninhabitable for people to live in. Child Protective Services was then called to assist on the scene.
Linda Kline, 81, and Rosalie Kline, 48, were arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and animal cruelty, the report tells us.
They were given appearance tickets to appear at Hopewell Town Court at a later date, the report says.
