Trump seeks to delay sentencing in hush money case until after election, ABC reports

 

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Former U.S. President Donald Trump is seeking to delay sentencing in his New York criminal hush money case until after the Nov. 5 election citing “election-interference objectives,” ABC News reported on Thursday.

A spokesperson for the Manhattan District Attorney’s office did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
