Trump official says US seeking to deport eight serious criminals, declines to confirm South Sudan destination

 

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -A U.S. Homeland Security official said on Wednesday that the U.S. is seeking to deport eight migrants convicted of serious crimes, but declined to confirm an allegation raised in federal court that the deportees were bound for South Sudan.
