For seven days each year, a decorated four-walled hut becomes home for the festive holiday of Sukkot, celebrated by Jews the world over.

The etrog (citron), a symbolic lemonlike fruit, is the centerpiece of the tradition. Some buyers will even pay thousands of dollars for the perfect specimen.
