IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — A unique holiday event took place in I-Square in Irondequoit on Sunday morning. This “Drop and Shop” event encouraged residents to donate used items instead of shopping for new holiday gifts.
Organizers from the Irondequoit Curb Alert and Gifting Group said the initiative aimed to reduce waste and foster community spirit, and encourages neighbors to reduce waste and bring the community together.
