MOUNT MORRIS, N.Y. — Students at Mount Morris Middle/ Senior High School were dismissed early after a fire happened at the school Wednesday.
According to the Chief of the Mount Morris Fire Department, there was a small fire on the roof that was quickly put out.
Students were sent home early as smoke filled one wing of the school, the chief says.
On the district’s website, it says all afterschool activities have been canceled for Wednesday, and school will be back in session Thursday.
